From May 1st to September 30th , we invite you to spend less than an hour on a tour by Gulbene tourist train and get to know the two historic city centers. This season the rout will be changed and you can find out more new and interesting facts about the history of the city and its development during the tour.
The tourist train starts its tour from Gulbene Cultural Centre, O.Kalpaka street 60.
The tourist train takes its course:
Monday (June, July, August) 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00.
Tuesday – Saturday: 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00.
Sundays 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00.
We remind that in May and September the tourist train doesn’t take its course on Mondays.
Tourist train’s route: Gulbene Cultural Centre – Ozolu Street – Railway Station – Dzelzceļa Street – Riga Street – Vidus Street – Gaitnieku Street (via Youth Park) – Ozolu Street – Riga Street – Līkā Street – Brīvības Street – Parka Street – O.Kalpaka Street – Gulbene Cultural Centre.
Ticket prices: for adults – EUR 3.50; 4-6 yrs. for children, pupils, pensioners and owners of “Gulbene Card” – 2.70 EUR.
During this season, you will also have the opportunity to visit the Gulbene Municipality Museum of History and Art. Every Friday and Saturday at 13 o’clock special tour, when the tourist train stops at the museum and there will stand for 30 minutes, giving tourists the opportunity to view the expositions there or visit Vecgulbene manor restaurant.
